Silverberg P.C. handles construction site accident cases involving workers injured on a construction job site.

These cases arise under New York’s Labor Law 240 and 241 law.

Labor Law 240, known as the “scaffold law,” covers injuries resulting from a fall and other elevation related injuries.

Labor Law 241 covers injuries arising from an employer’s failure to abide by a safety regulation.

Under both Labor Law 240 and 241, an injured worker working for a subcontractor (of any tier), can sue up the chain by suing, for example, the owner (on commercial projects) and suing the general contractor.
